  1. Where did 10cc get their name?
    10cc got their name from Jonathan King who released their first records. King had had a dream about a successful band called "10cc". However, popular belief is that they adopted the name because the average male ejaculation is 9cc and the band was above average with 1cc more than that!
  2. Who are the original band members?
    Eric Stewart, Kevin Godley, Graham Gouldman & Lol Creme.
  3. When were they born?
    Eric Stewart was born on 20th January 1945, Kevin Godley on 7th October 1945, Graham Gouldman on 10th May 1946 and Lol Creme's the youngest: on 19th September 1947.
  4. Can you name later members of the band?
    Paul Burgess, Rick Fenn, Stuart Tosh, Duncan Mackay, Vic Emerson and Tony O'Malley. Of course many other (session) musicians are featured on their albums too.
  5. Does 10cc still exist?
    No, the band does not exist anymore but its members have not stopped making music. The name 10cc is still owned by both Eric Stewart and Graham Gouldman.
  6. I'm looking for one of their records but can't find it in the shops. Where should I look?
    A good place to start is the Minestrone mailing-list where you will find many 10cc fans and some are willing to trade. Otherwise, try the on-line second hand record dealers or search an auction site such as Ebay . With very rare items it will often take a lot of time and luck, Don't give up too soon because any 10cc item is well worth your trouble!

    If there are any tours, performances or tv appearances by ex-members of 10cc that we know of, we will announce these on our Latest News page.

    Sorry. we cannot disclose addresses. We regularly put together lists of questions so you can mail us any queries and we'll see what we can do.

    Originally created using Macromedia's Fireworks and Dreamweaver on an Apple MacIntosh. Updated nowadays using FrontPage Express and Paint Shop Pro 7.
