10cc release their third album The Original Soundtrack which reaches #4 in the UK and #15 in the USA.

10cc begin a UK Tour at Leeds University supported by Fancy.

10cc release the single Life is a Minestrone / Channel Swimmer which reaches #7 in the UK charts.1

10cc begin their first European tour at the Gothenburg Concert House.

10cc release the single I'm Not In Love / Good News which gives 10cc their second No. 1 and #2 in the USA.

UK Records release the single Waterfall / 4% of Something.

UK Records release the Greatest Hits album 100cc which peaks at #9 in the UK and #161 in the USA.

The Scaffold release their new album Sold Out with contributions by Lol Creme and which was recorded at Strawberry.

The Mandalaband release their new album The Eye Of Wendor featuring all four members of 10cc on various tracks.
June 9
Justin Hayward and John Lodge release the single Blue Guitar produced by 10cc.
July 12
10cc appear at Cardiff Castle with Steeleye Span and Thin Lizzy with crowds of up to 15,000 with 10,000 turned away.
Aug
10cc begin work on the next studio album at Strawberry Studios in Stockport.
Oct / Dec
Third US tour lasting eight weeks begins.
