Feel the warmth of the valves

The first single featured here is a rather nice Canadian single "The Things We Do For Love"; the flip side is "Hot To Trot". This record is on the Philips red label. The label design reminds me of records from the sixties and how records of nowadays have lost their appeal, even CD's to some extent. Gone are the days when we used to lie on the lounge floor with our old box record player, with the smell of the old valves warming up the vinyl and the wood....(drifting back).
I have not come across many copies of this record and I’m not sure how rare it is.

Sun, Sea and Surf... ... ...

This next single, "Silly Love" comes from half way round the world ... the sun, sea, surf ... no not Southend but Australia! Another good example of how to present a single. This record is a sample, 'not for resale', the flip side is "The Sacro-Iliac" and it is on the Decca / UK label. Once again, I have not seen many copies of this single 'floating about' (as they say), so it's back to my sun lounger and pina colada and a good book (Worst Band In The World) ... sounds like heaven...
